Thoughts on the world

Christian drops some knowledge and gems on his thoughts on the world.

I believe the world today is bound to unravel in the next 50 years or so. Looking at history, all the most powerful civilizations such as Ancient Rome, Greece and Egypt fell once they started making talentless people famous. Late Roman poetry is objectively bad, and the only reason terrible poets rose to the top is because society gave them a platform. We can see the same thing with TikTok and celebrity in general. If history will repeat itself, we’re about to endure a major stress to society that will result in its downfall. If you don’t believe me, it’s already happening. Right now we are living in a paradigm shift bigger than 60’s psychedelia, and the entire world is waking up. I live in Ontario where our government is removing rights from the charter in order to add new safety measures against Covid-19. This means police are legally allowed to conduct random questioning and searches, Stay at home orders are being enforced with hefty fines, and border patrol has been set up outside of my city as well as the province, and only essential travellers are permitted to cross. George Orwell is laughing at Ontario right now saying “I called it!”. I think the world is soon going to wake up to the injustices we’ve faced and continue to face, and something big is going to happen soon. I think it’s kind of cool that I live right in the thick of it, experiencing firsthand the collapse of government trust and, as a result, the collapse of a functioning society. Things are going to change very quickly very soon.
