Hope: We need to respect each other’s beliefs, and listen.

My thoughts on the world rn is we can do better. we’re not united. we need to respect each other’s beliefs, and listen. i believe it’s starts with ourselves. we need to listen to ourselves. i think we’re so attached to materialistic things that we don’t listen to what our bodies need. our spiritual needs. with crime i mean i think we need a better system. jail is a money maker for the government.

Jordan Butcher: I think the government could have done a better job with Covid but they did their best

I think the government could have done a better job with Covid but they did their best. I think Covid now it’s gone on too long live life to the fullest don’t let it get you down too much, but just be carefully and smart about it. Crimes well just obeying the law. The system can be quite fucked up sometimes it’s not fair at all.

Angela Mannarino: Everyone has the right to decide what’s best for themselves and their family without the government forcing them to do anything.

I think it’s scary. Not the virus, but how the government is reacting. How quickly “two weeks” turned into a year and a half. How many people “follow the science” but that science jd actually backed by people who don’t care about humans at all. The actual science, the actual peer reviewed studies, are showing otherwise. But honestly, the division it’s caused. It’s the best way to take control over a country is to divide them a million ways. It’s logical they would do that. Freedom of choice is important. Everyone has the right to decide what’s best for themselves and their family without the government forcing them to do anything. Get the vaccine? Amazing. Don’t get the vaccine? Amazing. Don’t treat other humans badly. Allow them to be free and make their own choices. Don’t disown your family because they have different views than you. That’s absolutely insane. Our crime? Direct reflection of our failed government The war on drugs, war on terror, war on sex work, all of that failed. And is creating more “crime.” Victimless crimes aren’t crimes. Our system is completely broken and biased and also racist even in how they’re written and officers being trained. They don’t actually care about liberty and justice for all. They care about their inflated money. These issues need to be treated as mental health vs criminal Relationships? I don’t know. I think the government wants to replace parents. I think things have opened up and a lot of people are happier though. I don’t believe the government should have anything to do with marriage in the first place. I’m in a relationship, with more traditional roles with a modern spin, and it works great. All of these responses are short and just generally sum it up

Skyler Cocco: We’ve seen so many people “wake up” and take a stance against racial injustice and broken systems

In general I think the pandemic allowed everyone to reevaluate their lives and what they stand for. We’ve seen so many people “wake up” and take a stance against racial injustice and broken systems in the US specifically. The pandemic also allowed for so many people to take a moment to ask themselves if they are truly living a meaningful life/what they really want to spend their time doing. It’s beautiful to see so many people discovering themselves and finding communities, and I’m not sure we would be seeing that had the world not taken a pause.

Anees Malik: what’s happening the world is so hopeless. But knowing that there are people out there that will fight, that you are not alone

The people in the world today are so different. It stuns me that on one side you have people like Derek Chauvin who are inherently racist with a judicial and criminal system that is also full of white supremacy.

But on the other hand you have such incredible people who are fighting a battle against everything you can imagine for, for equality, feminism, the environment etc. These are not easy fights. But I believe that these people inspire so many other people. All it takes is starting one conversation.

And yeah you could say people today are so bad and what’s happening the world is so hopeless. But knowing that there are people out there that will fight, that you are not alone in trying to raise your voice gives me hope. I am a glass half full person and am proud to be one.
