In general I think the pandemic allowed everyone to reevaluate their lives and what they stand for. We’ve seen so many people “wake up” and take a stance against racial injustice and broken systems in the US specifically. The pandemic also allowed for so many people to take a moment to ask themselves if they are truly living a meaningful life/what they really want to spend their time doing. It’s beautiful to see so many people discovering themselves and finding communities, and I’m not sure we would be seeing that had the world not taken a pause.
People have become selfish and cold. People aren’t there for each other anymore. This is the reason why a lot of people from our generation commit suicide. They feel like no one is there for them and that no one cares. They feel like if they open up to people, those people will just gossip about their issues with other people.
I know all of us have our own battles and stress, but we should still be there for one another. We should support and help each other overcome some of those battles. We need to love each other again
