its not a happy world we live in. Many people think that this is the worst moment of history, however, this might be just as bad as the other moments, Same issues different scenarios. Humans will never be happy as long as humanity exist. Happiness is not tangible and its never long lasting. We aim for happiness because its not something we can have always The increase in crime, pollution and failed relationships has to do with the fact that we are just sad miserable humans A single human can’t change that, so nobody does anything about it We as a whole have a mindset that “everyone throws garbage on the floor, why shouldn’t I?” “Nobody is fighting corruption, how come by myself will be able to solve this issue” Covid vaccine was found in a jiff Just because a huge group of humans demanded it and needed it What if a huge group of humans demand a change in pollution? After what happened in europe, there might be a change..but is it too late?
the world took a major turn at least in my eyes we have become even worse mentally and physically. like parents being harsh on their children and it ruins their mental health and its hurts having your own parent destructing you from the inside, the whole pandemic taking a toll on you worrying everytime and pressuring yourself just making it easier for you to get it. And dont even get me started on relationships these arent even relationships anymore it’s just a whole game people go on dates and just stay on screens the whole time people arent committed they just love people for looks or money or just fun and boredom and for the actual people who are ready to do it they just end up heartbroken and they give up on everything either causing mental illnesses or insecurities or causing them to be a player and hurt others too, I cant speak for all the aspects but in general the world if just fucked up nowdays we strive for a better community yet still we cant get it cause of some people saying things like being gay is a sin and stuff like doing this is wrong everything is a sin now and we are all sinners no one is a saint everyone will go to hell if everything is a sin.
I went into the first lockdown in a 5-year relationship, and it ended because the stress of everything turned him to drugs and alcohol, and it wrecked us. In October time I met someone else who totally lead my on to think he was going to be a partner and I had known him for years… anyway it turns out he couldn’t make his mind up about me which was a real shame because he ‘didn’t know what he wanted from life’ I think social media is the biggest problem why people are not happy in relationships because they always think there’s someone else out there better. Too many people to choose from. Too many options/ ways to speak and communicate with other people. So sad, but I honestly feel this generation is totally screwed in terms of relationships etc, there will be a lot more single individuals and people who build a life for themselves as opposed to a family/partner. I’m 26 years old and absolutely do not see my life moving on in that direction anytime soon because even if someone was to fall into my life I don’t think I could trust them due to the way I’ve been treated by men and lead to believe things then dropped within an instant 🙄🙄 In terms of crime My dad is an ex functioning heroin addict and is currently in jail because of getting caught up with the wrong crowd. He is on supplements to get him off drugs, he is going well but was in prison remanded for a whole year due to COVID-19 because all court cases were so delayed. There is not enough support for criminals when they come out of jail, he has been in and out all of his life, but there’s no support system to follow up how he is getting on in terms of career, or putting him on the right path.
